How do I get more support for my child at school?

The first person with whom you should discuss extra support is your child's teacher. This is someone who will be most familiar with resources available in the school. If it is determined that a formal examination of your child's needs is warranted, the case will most likely be taken to the school's Educational Support Team (EST). The EST comprises a range of school personnel with expertise in providing for additional needs.
