Early Education Services is part of the Brattleboro School District, offering Early Head Start (birth-3) and Head Start (3-5) services to young children and families. 

Current positions/requirements:
Preschool Lead Teacher (Brattleboro) Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or 30-36 related college credits, and minimum 2 years preschool classroom teaching experience.
Preschool Teachers (Westminster) Associate or Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or 30-36 related college credits
Infant/Toddler Teachers (Westminster and Brattleboro) Associate or Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or 30-36 related college credits
Assistant Teachers (Westminster and Brattleboro) One year experience with young children and the completion of a college course in Child Development or CDA Credential, or completion of Fundamentals for Early Childhood Professionals.

All candidates must be able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively on a multi-disciplinary team. FAMILY SUPPORT SPECIALIST
Early Education Services is seeking an Early Head Start Home Visitor/Family Support Specialist to work with families in a home based setting.  In this position you will provide parents with child development information and activities, parenting support, and resource/referral information.  AA preferred in Early Childhood but would give consideration to CDA in ECE or Social Work with early childhood credits.  Experience working with diverse families and children in their home and a plus. Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required. The qualified candidate will join our team of dedicated home visiting/center staff providing comprehensive services to Early Head Start and Head Start families.  EES offers a competitive salary and excellent benefit package.

Cook

 Early Education Services is in need of an experienced cook for our Infant/Toddler/Head Start classrooms located in Westminster,VT.  The position is 32 hours a week Monday through Friday year round. Must have excellent organizational skills and basic knowledge of Nutrition. The ability to work as part of our EES team is essential. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required. Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Serve Safe Certification preferred. DENTAL HYGIENIST

Early Education Services is looking for a part time Registered Dental Hygienist, 12 hours a week with a flexible work schedule. Tasks include meeting all Head Start Performance Standards, tracking and supervision of children and pregnant women’s dental health needs. Coordinate and attend a monthly Saturday morning dental clinic. Must be able to work as a team member and have experience working with low income families and young children. Knowledge in community resources is a plus. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and have a valid driver’s license.

Full Time & Part Time Para Educator at Academy School

Academy School has a full time opening for a Paraprofessional. Come join a dynamic team! Primary responsibilities are supporting classroom teachers with academic instruction, facilitating reading groups, and supervision of students during lunch/recess. Flexibility, creativity, and a sense of humor are essential, as is a willingness to function as part of a teaching team aimed at supporting learners at all levels.

There is also a part time opening at Academy School for a Para Educator to facilitate reading groups, providing instructional support in literacy and math, preparing educational materials, and recess/lunch duty.

Two years post-secondary school or passing scores on the Para Pro test required.

Citizenship, residency OR WORK VIS in United States required.
