4:00 – 12:00 p.m. Monday – Friday

Job description

Cleans assigned school facilities, classrooms, offices, restrooms, shops and common areas.
Maintains supplies and equipment.
Able to lift 50 lbs unassisted.
Arranges furnishings and equipment for the purpose of providing preparations for meeting, classroom activities and special events.
Responds to immediate safety and or operational concerns for the purpose of taking appropriate action to resolve all such concerns.
This position reports directly to the Custodial Night Supervisor.

BAMS Parent Liaison-Part-Time

- Experience in establishing rapport and building relationships with diverse groups of families in a school or community setting
- Experience participating in work teams or leadership committees in a school or community setting
- Knowledge of best practices in parent engagement
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Certification in middle-level grades preferred

All work will be completed outside of contract hours and expectations. WSESU may terminate this MOU/Contract at any time for any reason giving at least (30) days notice in writing to the contractor. If the contractor is terminated by WSESU as provided herein, the contractor will be paid a fair payment as negotiated with the WSESU for work completed as of the date of termination.

English Long Term Sub-Alternative Education

This position will be filled as a long-term substitute and will be filled ASAP. We anticipate the need for this position until early January. The classes are in a small group, alternative setting within the regular school building. 

The desirable candidate will demonstrate a strong foundation in literacy, an aspiration to teach middle school students, and knowledge of the Common Core State Standards. The desirable candidate will demonstrate the ability to differentiate to meet the needs of a broad range of learners. The successful applicant will be certified in English with a Vermont Educator's license.

WRCC Automotive Technology Paraeducator Opening

Paraeducator 35 hours a week for Automotive Technology program. Responsible for assisting the program instructor in the delivery of instruction, reinforcement of instruction and the remediation of students in the area of responsibility. The paraeducator may be assisgned to one classroom or to a variety of assignments depending on the needs of the students.

Requirements: mechanical skills in the areas of the automotive field and understand the automotive terminology. Able to inspire excellence and prepare the students for social responsibility, employment, and postsecondary education in order to effectively meet our mission with enthusiasm and a positive attitude. Candidate should possess fundamental computer skills including email capability, word documents, and basic internet searches.
